ज्योति चावला

5 अक्टूबर, 1979 को दिल्ली में जन्मी ज्योति चावला कविता और कहानी-लेखन में समान रूप से सक्रिय हैं।

उनकी प्रकाशित पुस्तकें हैं— ‘माँ का जवान चेहरा’, ‘जैसे कोई उदास लौट जाए दरवाजे से’, ‘यह उनींदी रातों का समय है’ (कविता-संग्रह); ‘अँधेरे की कोई शक्ल नहीं होती’ (कहानी-संग्रह) और ‘कथा, अन्तर्कथा, अन्तर्पाठ’ (आलोचना)। अनेक कविताएँ विभिन्न भारतीय भाषाओं में अनूदित होकर प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं।

कविता के लिए ‘शीला सिद्धान्तकर स्मृति कविता सम्मान’ और ‘जे.सी. जोशी स्मृति पाखी कविता सम्मान’ से सम्मानित ज्योति वर्तमान में इन्दिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय (इग्नू), दिल्ली में अध्यापक हैं।
