डॉ. जयपाल सिंह

डॉ. जयपाल सिंह का जन्म दुरती, सरगुजा, छत्तीसगढ़ में हुआ। प्राथमिक शिक्षा गाँव मरहठा के शासकीय विद्यालय से। हिन्दी में एम. फ़िल. और पी-एच.डी. की उपाधि प्राप्त।

छत्तीसगढ़ के विभिन्न शासकीय महाविद्यालयों में अध्यायपन किया। पंडित रविशंकर शुक्ल विश्वविद्यालय में भी पढ़ाया। पंडित सुन्दरलाल शर्मा (मुक्त) विश्वविद्यालय छत्तीसगढ़, बिलासपुर के हिन्दी विभाग के स्थापना विभागाध्यक्ष रहे।

उनकी प्रकाशित पुस्तकें हैं—‘प्रगतिवादी कथा-लेखन और मार्कण्डेय’, ‘हिन्दी भाषा (तीन खण्ड), ‘कबीर का युगपथ’। ‘अनुवाद की सैद्धांतिकी’, ‘अनुसंधान प्रविधि एवं प्रक्रिया’ उनकी शीघ्र प्रकाश्य पुस्तकें हैं।
