जन्म : 1 नवम्बर, 1945
एम.बी.बी.एस. की पढ़ाई कर चुके डॉ. नरेंद्र दाभोलकर ने सन् 1982 में अंधविश्वास उन्मूलन कार्य का प्रारंभ किया। 1989 में ‘महाराष्ट्र अंधश्रद्धा निर्मूलन समिति’ की स्थापना की। आजन्म समिति के कार्याध्यक्ष रहे। अंधविश्वास उन्मूलन विषय पर दर्जन-भर पुस्तकों का लेखन किया। पुस्तकों को अनेक पुरस्कार मिले। 20 अगस्त, 2013 को अज्ञात तत्त्वों द्वारा गोली मारकर उनकी हत्या कर दी गई। मरणोपरांत भारत सरकार द्वारा पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किए गए।
